I'm ready for my new family!

Hello, I am Greyson "Grey" McPurrington!!  I didn't have a name until I came to be in rescue.  Prior to my arrival in the rescue, I was living in a house with 115 other cats in Central Mississippi.  On the day I was removed from the only home I knew (I was born in the home with all the other cats), I was very scared and acting very crazy.  I was believed to have been a boy, when I was transported to this rescue with several other boy cats.   I was scheduled to see the vet and be neutered right away.  But because I was still acting not so nice, I was Ear-Tipped, in case I decided to continue being that way and go live as a barn/farm cat.  But I had lots of surprises ahead for my rescue team.

It wasn't until I arrived at the vet to be neutered, that it was discovered that I was a girl.  But by then, I was used to people calling me Grey and Greyson.  After Surgery, I went to stay in a foster home.  I was still scared for the first week in my new foster home, as I was not sure what was going on.  My people were very patient with me and allowed me to decompress from all the changes that took place very quickly in my life.   I quickly figured out that people are not so scary. I even have a dog in my foster home, but it doesn't bother me, I actually think the dog is scared of cats because he runs away from me and my foster cat friends.

I really love to be cuddled and play with toys!!!! I have discovered that Cat trees are really fun!!! I also love laser pointers.  I am still getting used to being a new cat with a new life.  I will need a family that is understanding and willing to be patient with me, as I may be a bit shy from time to time when new things happen.  But if you reassure me and just love me, I will be ok.
