I'm ready for my new family!

Hershey was rescued from a horrible situation with numerous other dogs.  She was only a baby herself.  She did not know how to be a dog when she came into rescue.  She didn't know what toys or treats were.  Her foster family took time to teach her that life can be good.  She is kennel trained and doesn't mind cats.  Large dogs scare her.  Hershey prefers PEOPLE most of all!!  She needs chew toys when she has anxiety.  She should not be left home alone for long periods of time.  She doesn't mind car rides as long as she is with her people!!

Hershey had an adoption lined up in October, but unfortunately the adopters were in a horrific car accident & due to injuries felt they were not going to be able to care for her & asked that we find her an amazing home.

I was rescued from a hoarding case in South Mississippi. I've been in rescue over 6 months.

I'm extremely affectionate, and love attention. I'm house trained.
