I'm ready for my new family!

I was found as a 5month old puppy with serious wounds from being dumped outside in RURAL Tennessee.  I was taken to the vet by a rescuer, where it was determined that I had Maggots in my wound and an infection.  The vets fixed me up and helped me become a healthy pup!!

I have been in rescue since I was found, because everyone passes me up based on me being "just a black lab".   I am cute, SMART, and easy going!  I would love my own family.  I am Crate trained, and house trained.  Just teach me which door I need to signal to go out at.  I respect baby gates.  If the gates closed, I sit and wait by it but won't jump it or push it even though I could.  I LOVE TOYS & TREATS!!!  I am HIGHLY Food Motivated!!!  I am willing to learn more silly tricks like maybe roll-over or high five as long as you have treats ready.
