I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Chief

We're happy to tell you that Chief has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Chief was abandoned in the wilderness in Florida with two other Rottweilers. All three of them went into the shelter in Florida in horrible conditions. Chief and his companions were saved by Rising Star Rottweiler rescue and Chief then went on to training with Fury Friends Humane Society. Chief is sweet, stubborn and silly. Chief may be considered older at 5 years, but that has not stopped him at all from running, playing and living his new life at his foster home.

Chief loves the water hose and definitely loves receiving puppy treats when he has completed one of his training techniques that Fury Friends Humane Society taught him. Chief gets along well with both male and female dogs. He doesn't appear to have a problem with smaller dogs or cats. He isn't prey driven and would love nothing more than to cuddle up all 109 lbs on your lap.

Chief is very vocal and will let you know that he is stubborn but is so sweet and gentle when taking his puppy treats. He is shy and skittish at first, then when he gets comfortable, he wags his tail and his personality shines. Give Chief that chance to cuddle on the couch and be your new best friend!!
